The serial interface is used to adjust
advanced tuning features of the traction control system.
These tuning features can be used to fine tune the system to exactly what
the user desires.
On a circle track systems, this includes being
able to tune the engine RPM at which the system becomes active, as well
as the RPM at which the system can be deactivated.
The user can also tune the length of corrections, and the amount of power
that is cut on different parts of the race track.
The software based interface is priced at $149.95, and easily installs on your
computer. The Traction Control is connected to the computer
via a serial cable or through a secure wireless
Bluetooth
connection.
Tuning is achieved through a few simple mouse
clicks.
The Handheld interface is priced at $299.95, and may
be more
convenient at the track. The Traction Control is
connected to the Handheld via a small cable or through a secure wireless
Bluetooth
connection.
*The small size, simple keypad, and backlit display make changes quick and easy.
While these interfaces are not necessary, they do make getting the
maximum potential out of your Traction Control much easier!
